Testimonials

“As Vice-President of the DeKalb Genetics Foundation, I observed Mr. Bert and Ms. Bogaard during the completion of our new museum feasibility study. I found their performance excellent in the areas of their responsibility, including supervision of audience research, collections management, and architectural subcontractors and staff. Though the new museum project was not funded, the Board found the work of Musemaster to be satisfactory in all respects. I would recommend them for similar museum projects.”

"Over the past year I have worked with Mr. Bert as a fellow board member for the Rocky Flats Cold War Museum which is in its formative stages. He has given us excellent professional advice and assistance in developing the needed committees, policies and activities to move forward in the areas of governance, fund raising, exhibits, collections management and interpretation. His practical experience in museum management, his candor and his ability to work with other board members are all valuable assets to our board, as we work to develop our first exhibit and plan a capital campaign in order to construct a building."

"Jim Bert joined the Hotel de Paris Museum (owned and operated by the NSCDA in CO) in December, 2005 as Executive Director. Jim’s work formalizing the Museum’s association with the National Trust for Historic Preservation has been outstanding. This past year, he has successfully obtained and administered multiple grants necessary for critical restoration and preservation of our priceless historic building. Conny Bogaard joined the Hotel de Paris Museum and the McAllister House Museum (also owned and operated by NSCDA in GO) as Curator mid 2006. Conny has successfully obtained intellectual control of the Museum collections at both sites. Jim and Conny have added value to our organization with their Museum knowledge and experience."
